Submissions to Calgary City Council - HOW TO If you can't attend the Public Hearing please make a submission When: Deadline for your submission to be included on the agenda will be by end of day Oct 21 . Best to send as soon as possible. How: you can use the old fashioned post mail or email publicsubmissions@calgary.ca with copy to cityclerk@Calgary.ca Please copy us safewatercalgary@gmail.com so I can ensure your submission is included in the agenda. I will check when the agenda is published. You can even copy all councillors so they know you have spoken but that is totally optional! All their address are here: https://safewatercalgary.com/action Subject: Please label your submission short and clear else it can get lost. For example you can use "Submission for Hearing on Water Fluoridation" What: Write what you think is best. The more personal the letter the better. If you attach any files those will also be part of your submission. If you need inspiration, we have some facts and links with templates here: https://safewatercalgary.com/action The city has not stated a limitation to the size of the submission. You do not have to reside in Calgary to make a submission. Make sure to sign your full name and if you live in Calgary you can include which ward you live at and even address your councillor. Find our ward and councillor here https://www.calgary.ca/citycouncil/Pages/Ward-Communities.aspx More ways to help: Please take a couple minutes to sign our petition, like our pages, and share with others. The main issue we face is that many of those opposing fluoridation are not aware of the current situation. See https://safewatercalgary.com/action Get one or more people to do the same. Done
